*Please note: There is a difference between stainless steel stoppers and nickel plated stoppers.

Almost all of our stoppers are now on stainless steel bases. This is because nickel plated stoppers are for display when serving and not for long term storage.  Using nickel plated stoppers for more that one week of storage is not recommended, as pitting of the metal base can occur from long term contact with wine or other alcoholic beverages.
